I recently posted for info on good places to dine/have good wine for a solo traveler.
Ended up going to Piperade, and A16. Great recommendations.
Food was phenomenal at both and the per glass wine selections solid (much better at A16 though).
Had the lamb 3 ways....very nice dish. Appetizer was grilled Octopus with capers and olives....fantastic.
The 20 month aged Prosciutto was stellar as good as what I had experienced this summer in Parma with the locals.
Little bartender guy recommended I try the Canneloni filled with Lamb for entree....I'm usually not a pasta guy...but this was one of the best dishes (I still find it hard to believe I'm saying that) I've had in a while.
