Reconsider Butler and the Chef

cc | Aug 14, 200501:00 PM

I know most hounds do not think that Butler and the Chef is worth going to. However, in defense of that place, I think there are several things they do well:

1. Sitting at their outside table on a warm quite Sat morning with a cup of their coffee, the buckwheat salmon crepe and a dog lying close by makes you feel "yea life is good".

2. Their almond croissant is one of the best in the neighborhood.

3. Their lunch baguettes.

I think we have to remember that they are only a breakfast and lunch place. Their services, the dozen times I have been there, are always good. I think they certainly offer a good alternative to the restaurant choices in the area.
