Recommendations for recipe organizing apps?

kaye_tx | Nov 11, 201710:10 AM

Many years ago I moved my cookbook to the digital domain by using Living Cookbook. I love being able to take my laptop with me and have my entire recipe library. It's also easy to clip online recipes and has a nutrition calculator. However, I'm worried that this software may not be supported much longer. It has been convenient to use, but is local to my PC.

I'd love to use an app that allows me to import my existing recipes, clip new ones from the web, and syncs across devices. However, I absolutely have to be able to back up the recipes to a standard format (.txt, .html, .pdf, etc). Living Cookbook let me do a mass backup of everything in just a few steps. Does anyone use a cloud-based app like Paprika or Pepperplate that has this feature? If so, do you like the app? I also need to know if it has decent search capabilities for saved recipes since I have lots of recipes in my database.
