Hi,

I will be visiting the Miami area for a week next week, staying for a few days in Key Biscayne for a work conference, and the extending my trip to stay in South Beach along with my girlfriend.

Looking for some recommendations for places to go that are gastropub-ish vibe, but no limitations on cuisine. I want to be eating somewhere with a casual vibe, as well as great food. Working with an average to above average budget. The few recommendations that have popped up so far are pubbelly, Michael's, and the Room.

Any feedback on these, as well as other places to visit would be greatly appreciated. We don't have a car, but are willing to travel by taxi/public transit within reason.

Definitely, big wine and cocktail lovers, along with any seafood. We are coming from Montreal, and love the food culture here, but obviously would like to taste what Miami has to offer. I'd lean away from French and Italian, but that isn't a complete deal breaker. Also not looking for hole in the walls, but more places where we could spend the evening, drinking and eating the night away, maybe even sit at the bar and meet some locals that might guide us to the next best place.

Throw what you can at me!
