Recommendations for leather honing strop

VFish | May 29, 202005:28 PM     108

Hi, I didn't want to hijack a thread and thought it best to just ask. Can someone recommend a leather strop to hone my Wusthof Classic and Ikon knives? I've been using the regular Wusthof honing steel but maybe I'll do better for my knives with a leather strop as Ray has suggested.

I did a search and couple of random web pages recommend a French leather Taytools and a BeaverCraft but what do I know?

If someone knows specifically what strop would be good for my type of knives, I'd appreciate it. Looks like there is more to buying a strop than what I anticipated. Thanks!
