Recommendations for using Entertainment Book coupons

Canuck Bob | May 5, 2004 10:20 PM

We (H/W early 50s) will be in New Orleans May 15 to 22. While not dyed in the wool chowhounds, we both like to eat well and often! I've been reading lots of posts here and my head is swimming with info about fine (and not so fine) dining in NO.

However, in an effort to save some money (Canadians hate having to pay a 35% premium when dining in the US), I purchased the New Orleans edition of the Entertainment coupon book.

Here are some of the restaurants listed for New Orleans proper - which ones should I try and which ones are a waste of time no matter how big the discount?

Any other comments about restaurants NOT to be missed is much appreciated -- we WILL pay retail for a few meals!!
