Recommendations for a Chocolate Tempering Machine?

I love almost anything chocolate-coated, as do most of my friends and family. And after springing close to $20 on a canister of chocolate-covered potato chips (crisps, really) I am wondering whether it may be worthwhile to buy one of those table-top tempering machines, like the Revolation 1 or 2. (Very expensive, but maybe it will pay for itself in a couple of years if I can use it to make food gifts for friends.)

Does anyone have any experiences or suggestions regarding a tempering machine and where to get one?
