I have a friend coming in from St. Louis, (Mo. for those who don't know where St. Louis is) this coming weekend. She has never been to New York. So upon her arrival we are planning to head out to dinner -- she doesn't like airplane food and who can blame her.
I thought it would be good to give her a first "taste" of New York by going to Flushing Chinatown. It is very New York and pretty close to the airport.
Any suggestions for a late night place there that you think of as a good intro. And what should we order??
Thanks for the help!
If you think non-Chinese is better, I am certainly open to other suggestions. The only parameters are that it be fairly close to the airport and that it be open late so we don't feel rushed.
