I'm looking for a good brunch place for six people on Saturday morning. Nothing yucky and dissapointing, I'd like actual, good brunch. This has been a goal that has mystified me for the past two years.

Cashion's eat place is ok, but it was a bit too precious, lacked prerequisite perfectly scrambled eggs and crispy potatoes that you want on a brunch menu, even if you don't end up ordering it and get something like a buffalo burger eggs benedict instead.

I'm in Logan Circle so Dupont/Logan/U would be convenient, but anywhere in DC near a metro would also be fine.

Looking in the 7-20$ price range, not the 30 dollar monster buffets.

I've heard Palena is good.
