(I think Broward is the right county!)
We're looking for good Q (ribs, pulled, pork, brisket, it's all good - well, maybe I'm lukewarm on chicken) next Sunday night (Mothers Day!) when we'll be staying in the Miami Lakes area. I've tried to do my homework here at Chow and, because Tom Jenkins is closed that night, have narrowed the choices to (in alpha. order) Dixie Pig, Jack's and Scruby's. I got down to these three based on board comments and a desire to stick with independent proprietors.
Could anyone advise me on the relevant strengths and weaknesses among the three of these? (We've never been to any of them.) Seating capacity, decor, and availability of alcohol are unimportant. Have I overlooked any competitors?
We've done the Pit and Shorty's in the past and want to head north this time.
Thanks mucho for your help
