Recommendation for 7-8 cup food processor: Cuisinart or KitchenAid or...?

nuritnurit | Nov 30, 201903:30 AM     7

I bought a KitchenAid KFP720OB 7-Cup Food Processor in 2008, and the plastic piece at the top of the handle became a bit loose, causing the food processor to refuse to function. I used it at most twice a month the past 11 years to make pesto. I'm not overly impressed with its longevity (or lack thereof), but perhaps my expectations are too high. I'm looking to replace it with either the current KitchenAid 7-cup Food Processor or the Cuisinart Classic/Pro 7-cup Food Processor or the Cuisinart Elemental 8-cup. My biggest concerns are reliability and ease of cleaning (want to be able to just throw the bowl, etc into the dishwasher). I only use it to make pesto (for myself). Which do you recommend? Or another brand?

I'd appreciate your advice. thanks :)
