Recommend a caterer?

Can any of you chowhounds out there unequivocally recommend a caterer?
The event is a pre wedding shower for about 35 people. I would like it to be a brunch style with something that I wouldn't cook myself.
Last year I had a family reunion for 50 people catered and it was only so-so. The appetizers were ok, baked brie which turned into a runny mess before too long. Stuffed mushrooms, crab and shrimp (which can't be left unrefrigerated for long). Salad was nice, baby greens with choice of dressing. The entree was roast pork loin, overcooked (better than undercooked)and therefore needed a sauce, potatoes au gratin because of their staying power, asparagus and fruit garnish. I provided the dessert which the caterers served. The staff was congenial and efficient. I had 3 vegetarians and what they were served was unidentifiable and even more unspeakable. Needless to say, I was reimbursed for the inedibles. The meal was $40 per person which is probably about average. I feel I could have done better.

I realize that not everyone will be thrilled but a cut above is what I'm looking for.
I would appreciate all suggestions.
