Reclaiming The Franchise--Another Original Shau May Branch Opening?

Chandavkl | Feb 27, 201502:23 PM

Apparently the Shau May name is like Sam Woo in that there is no central ownership of the name. As TonyC explained, the original owners came back recently, to South El Monte of all places. Well it looks like there might be another original location, as the Hi Pie on Valley Blvd. in San Gabriel, which might have been a Shau May branch in the 1990s (called May Restaurant), is now SG Xiao May Restaurant. Format is the same as all of the Shau May's and knockoffs, so who knows what the deal is. 830 E. Valley Blvd.
