My wife and I will be back in Naples come April. We'll be there for a month. The flat is on top of a palazzo on the Riviera di Chiaia and has a top-notch kitchen.
Landlord is a lovely woman with a fine home nearby, speaks most Romance languages and is not overly fond of the Roman dishes that my wife expertly prepares based on conversations. Fair enough.
What is a home-cooked meal/menu that will satisfy/impress my landlord? Further, what wine(s) would be appropriate? Dessert (bought) is important, too.
Suggestions, please. Pointing me in the direction of a good cookbook or two is ok. We're talking a single meal.
This is a tall order. Thanks in advance.
