Ok, everyone. We're starting the recipe/cookbook club this month with the previously voted upon Chef's Confidential. About mid-month, we'll vote on the next book. We're looking for volunteers to sign up for the following categories:
- Soup
- Salad
- Appetizer
- Entree - Vege
- Entree - Non vege
- Carb side
- Vege side
- Misc side
- Desert
- Drinks
You can sign up for more than one, and for categories others have already chosen. Please give your chosen recipe a 1-10 score (5 being average for the recipes you use, 1 being atrocious, and 10 being one of the best in your collection). Also, if you could, indicate the prep and cook times (or, if the book has it already, mention how accurate you believe that to be and how many it serves.
I'm signing up for the ROASTED TOMATO SOUP WITH FRESH BASIL on page 47 (mostly because I just made it for 10 guests the past two Shabbats, review to come soon) and the CRISPY HALIBUT IN POTATO CRUST on page 140, which I've never made.
