I had this awesome eggplant dish from a restaurant called Glatt Hut, located in the Pico-Robertson area of Los Angeles.
The egglplant was cooked in a dark, tomato-y sauce. Perhaps it had garlic and sweet paprika in it--I'm not sure what the spices were. All I know is, it was fantastic, and I want to make it at home. Somebody told me it's called "red eggplant" or "Romanian eggplant."
Has anybody had this, and do you know how it's made?
