Not sure if this is the best place to post this but it is relevant to the area.
In NYC across from Madison Square Garden there's a Gyro place called Gyro II. Frequently, I'll walk from my office on 40th street and 3rd ave to get one, I feel it's that good.
What I was hoping, for those of you that are familiar with the place, was for someone to clue me in as to what's so special about the white sauce that they use. It's almost a creamy Italian flavor and it finishes the Gyro perfectly.
Even if you can't help, if you happen to be in the area and have a craving be sure and visit.
