Yet another reason to leave hospitality!!

ChefMikeinBurlington | Jun 29, 201809:12 AM

It seems that every day there are more and more reasons to leave the hospitality industry. I give you exhibit "A", the anonymous server rating, a rating that "the restaurants then use the survey results to rate the performance of its servers, and anything less than a perfect score can have a negative impact, resulting in servers having their number of tables reduced, being switched to less desirable shifts, or having their hours cut....technically, they don’t fire you,” a former Chili’s server said. “But they give you such bad shifts, and they start cutting back your shifts to where you don’t have enough to survive.”

I'm not the biggest fan of FOH generally, at least compared to the BOH who actually make the meals, but even I can admit this is bullshit...
