Where in Manhattan can I find authentic Philadelphian food? I'm talking a real cheesesteak, a real hoagie, and real water ice (snow cones and "Italian ice" do not cut it).
As for the sandwiches, I think the key is the bread. The local bread is not the way I remember it in Philly.
I'd include soft pretzels too, but I'm not a big fan (either of the Philly kind or the NYC kind).
