Via Real in Irving TX - good choice?

UptownKevin | May 6, 2005 02:42 PM

Hey guys and gals,

I'll be in DFW, staying in Irving, TX in the Las Colinas area, with a "friend." We are meeting just for dinner and I'm looking for a fun but romantic dinner spot. I've picked Via Real, partly based on some recommendations from the TX Chowhound board. This looks like a winner, as it seems to be a bit romantic, a bit busy and fun at the same time. Hopefully a little noisy, and it seems the menu is solid. She's from SF and I'm from New Orleans, but food isn't my only priority. I need the atmosphere as well, anyone agree/disagree on this.
