The Real Greek - London

Just had dinner at the "Real Greek" in Hoxton... It takes a bit of meandering to find, but you will be rewarded - we had two of the tasting platters one fish and one meat, both excellent - roasted fish with lemony garlic mash, prawns with a tomato sauce and feta cheese, another a trout with samphire, a sausage in a wine and lemon sauce - and great tzatziki, dolmas, lamb patties and olives. Friends drank retsina, and we drank the house red, which was pretty decent out of the carafe. This was all at the bar area, the restaurant looked very nice also, with the menu being a not so run-of the-mill greek, more original than most.

Definitely a find...
