I recently visited Portland, OR, and was astonished at the ease with which one could obtain excellent, fresh-made espresso coffee - lovely stuff so sweet... (I drank my triple shot, low-fat, 16oz latte without any sugar!).
I am aware of what kind of coffee and coffee practices go on at places like Starbucks, CB&TL and Peet's. So, who's doing it right in L.A. county or O.C. county?
FYI: Hounds visiting PDX should definitely check out places like Anna Bananas, Extracto, Terazza Rossa (I think that's what it was called, on the cnr of NE 33rd & Killingsworth)...
