Ready to rent a restaurant for big Rehearsal Dinner - but where?

Pamela | Oct 18, 200010:23 PM     3

Here's a question to everyone who has a little neighborhood place they love and would love to rent out for friends and family...
I am planning a big rehearsal dinner (80-90 people)for a Friday night in April, and am looking for a place that has a somewhat romantic ambience (candles, comfortable seating, homey feeling) coupled with great food (not too exotic - French? Italian? American?) and warm service. Since I live in the Village, I'm considering Indigo (now called "Merge"), or perhaps Bambou. I would love to hear from anyone who has good suggestions, or may have rented out a restaurant they had a good experience with. Price is not as important as finding a really lovely place that will treat all of our out-of-town friends well.
Thanks for any advice you might provide!
