Rave for Utsav restaurant in Yorkville

Just went to this spot for lunch today and had a great meal! My friend and I ordered vegetable samosas and tandoori chicken to start; and we shared the chicken marsala and garlic nan.

The vegetable samosas were to die for! I've had good samosas but these were outstanding. Crisp, crunchy pastry jam-packed with potatoes and peas. It wasn't greasy and it wasn't in the usual flat triangular shape but sort of pyramid-shaped. You definitely get your money's worth. I'm actually thinking of going back just to get more of these.

The tandoori chicken arrived and was flavour-fill through out. The spices weren't just on the outside but cooked throughout the chicken. Again, it was great.

Chicken marsala and garlic nan did not disappoint. Very flavour-full and I loved the garlic nan which was crispy and light.

I think this place just opened up recently but it is definitely something to check out. I don't work for them but wanted to share since I don't want this place to go under. I'm off to dream about samosas. :)
