It's just a dinky little Middle Eastern deli on the southeast corner of 3rd Ave & 44th St, but they really do make an outstanding falafel wrap (or pita).

The falafel is crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, slightly nutty in flavor, well-seasoned . . . The taboule is loaded with tomatoes and onion and lemon juice - it's not just some barley & parsley. The tzatziki is creamy and fresh.

And today, the falafel guy threw my wrap on the sandwich press for a minute, so it had a lovely char-grilled flavor.

For $4.95, how can you beat this?!
