I have recently moved away from Calgary where the 'Heartland Cafe' sold the most delicious Rasberry Oat Scones.
Cruncy and slightly golden on the outside, soft in the middle, the oats were there but not overly chewy. They were freeform, studded with rasberries on the top and very substantial.
I am totally missing my weekly treat and have tried re-creating to no avail. I bought the cookbook before I left but these aren't in it... sooo does anyone have a recipe that could be along these lines?
