Had dinner at Raoul's last night with some friends and family. The hits: the house red was excellent and the bartender knows how to mak a mean sidecar. All the app's were delicious. The soups delicate and creamy.
I had the Steak au poivre.(Sp?) it was real peppery and the fries were perect. The vegetarian assiente was excellent and the risotto with Mushrooms and spring peas delicious. The fish was off a bit. One person had the Tuna which he enjoyed but I thought was fishy. The same with the Scallops. I'd go back in heartbeat and like the decor. It's on the way to being a classic NY establishment,if its not one already.(which I'm sure it is). I'm curios though is Monday a good fish night?
