So, we were invited to Rao's tonight - and we're very excited/anxious. After all it's a big deal - at least in terms of degree of difficulty - to get into the restaurant.
I understand from reviews the food is good - not very good - but I'm a big fan of their sauces and like to think if they bottle good stuff they must serve good stuff fresh?!? In saying that, I have no idea what to expect? Is it like dining at Angelo's in Little Italy? Or is it like Il Mulino? Or is it entirely unique?
Anyone with first-hand experience who can shed some light on what to expect?
