Just wondering ... has anyone used a commercial style range (48" or 60") in an island in their kitchen? We will be remodeling soon, and wall space without windows is at a premium, and we would rather have the ovens in the island. One option could be two ovens mounted in the island cabinets under the counter, with a big cooktop, but a nice commercial style range, such as Blue Star, would work out nicely. There is certainly room in the island for a 48" to 60" range, but i'm wondering if there are any drawbacks to using a range in an island. Any thoughts?
