...Ramly Burgers in LA?

pbartholow | Aug 3, 200508:53 PM

For some time, people have been sending me links hailing the joys of the Malaysian Ramly Burger, a popular street food in Malaysia and Singapore. It's hailed as the "asian hamburger," and I've seen far too many drooling blog posts to not be curious. As I'm not likely to end up in either of these countries any time soon, I was wondering if there is a way to try one in the LA-area?

For those that haven't heard of it, a Ramly Burger Special is a Ramly patty (Ramly's the name of the company that produces them) made from spiced meat(s), fried up with chopped onions in margarine and some kind of additional seasoning, wrapped in a thin omelette and served with buttered and toasted buns, vegetables, sweet chili sauce and mayonnaise.
