I'll be visiting you the first week of August and was hoping that you could recommend some great ramen places. We're staying out in the Richmond district (Seal Rock Inn), but will have a car and are willing to drive. Here in San Diego we have a place that serves fabulous tonkotsu-style ramen (very rich pork stock seasoned with either salt [shio] or shoyu). The cha-shu is excellent (moist and porky with just enough fat to make it succulent) and the very chewy noodles never get mushy in the soup. Do you all have anything similar? Thanks!
