Radio Perfecto - Report

Guy | Jun 7, 2002 10:58 AM

Went to radio perfecto last night with a group of 12 for a friend's birthday and had a good time. for a cheap place that can accommodate a rowdy group, the food was fairly good and the service was attentive. Since i got to sample most everything here is my report.

both salads were good, but i preferred the portabelo. the calamari was fairly generic but the dipping sauce was a spicy creamy sauce which was good. the buffalo wings were ok but after the manager overheard us saying that they weren't spicy enough he challenged us to sample some new extremely hot wings he was planning to throw on the menu. after he brought us out one round that he though was going to burn us and it didn't, he took it back to the kitchen to throw on some more drops of a daves insanity sauce type sauce. This one was a scorcher but not very good (disclaimer: very high heat threshold amongst my friends so be careful)

the half chicken and the half chicken of the day were both decent and the steak was flavorful for a $14 steak. I had the chicken pot pie which was my least favorite.

overall this is a good lively place that can be done for 15-20 a person.
