Thanks to mwks recommendation from 3/27, we tried Little Q Fri. night. Around 8 pm we were told it would be about a 15 min. wait and it was. The place was packed but they have lots of seats. Tea and little dishes of pickled (radish?) and marinated beans were brought and enjoyed right away. We liked this place better than Shabu Zen for the variety of items and the richness of the broths. We had the black chicken and miso broths and then proceeded to order way too much for the 2 of us. They give you menus like a large sushi menu written in Chinese and English. You just check off or number what you want. We tried lamb, beef, pumpkin, pea shoots, Chinese broccoli, pork meatballs, mushrooms, black fungus, and scallion pancakes. All were very good. As mwk mentioned, the scallion pancakes were terrific, some of the best Ive had in a long time. We also ordered Little Q special soup noodles (homemade thin flat noodles, more lamb, spinach, garlic and other seasoning) which were eaten the next day cold by the SO who loved them. Theres a lot to explore on the menu and we will be back. They serve beer and wine and the prices were very low.
Also mentioned in mlks review is Classic India. We have not eaten dinner there but have been to their $7 lunch buffet many times and think it is a great bargain.
