Went to Quince Bistro for dinner tonight. Was surprised to find out that it is the exact same place as vikki Lee Boyajian- same owner, same chef, same wait staff. Only thing new is the paint job and the elimination of the deli/takeout section.The food was just ok as it was at Vikki Lee. No real change. Crab cakes tasted more of filling than crab. Charcuterie was ok but a little strange. Chicken dish was - well, chicken. The trio of cheesecakes- spice, chocolate and passion fruit ws ordinary- the passion fruit cheesecake was frozen!My husband had rack of lamb with some kind of suasage that was dry. Not terrific.
So, it is the exact same restaurant that was not doing ok so they added some paint, drapes and a few pictures and expect that they will do better. I do not think so.
