Quiet Downtown Restaurant for Father's Birthday

bsw | Nov 29, 201001:57 PM

I'm looking for a restaurant downtown (no further north than West Village) to take my parents to celebrate my father's birthday. My father is hard of hearing, so it needs to be on the quiet side, so he can join in the conversation. I was thinking Dylan Prime as an option, but was hoping for suggestions of other places that might be good. Dad likes steaks and Bavarian food -- he's a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Thanks so much for your help!!
