just some quick reviews on places i visited this past week
Sultan in Lansdale- ordered takeout on Thanksgiving. after coming home from t-day dinner where i ate a spoonful of green bean cassarole(i'm vegetarian) i was ready for some good veggie food. i have only ever eaten indian food at Khujuraho so i was interested to have sultan's food. i got the vegetarian app. platter with samosas, pakoras, bhaji, the aloo matar, and naan. it was all delicious, pretty much on par with what i have eaten at kujuraho. the man at the counter was also very nice and made sure to wish me "a very happy thanksgiving".

Drafting Room in Spring House- went here with my boyfriend who was in from LA for thanksgiving. before he moved out to cali about 7 months ago, this was a restaurant we frequented. i got the creamy mushroom soup, which is the best mushroom soup i have ever had. just the cup size(for about 3 bucks) fills me up, it is so rich. i also ordered the candied walnut goat cheese salad, which i could barely touch because i was so full from the soup, but it tasted great for lunch the next day. my boyfriend got the onion soup(his favorite place to get onion soup) and the chipotle rubbed steak with spicy corn and herb mashed potatoes. he always gets this and loves it, it is very spicy(i tasted the corn and potatoes).

Wegman's in Downingtown- when my boyfriend went to school in Ithaca 2 years ago, we used to go the Wegman's there all the time and it was like the zenith of all gorcery stores to us. we missed it so bad after he came home, so we were so excited when the one in downingtown opened. so we made out first trip(and i do mean trip, took an hour to get there from lansdale) on this past saturday. it is almost as good as the one in ithaca, we decided. great prepared foods section with a spacious and cute cafe area to eat. he got a hoagie that he loved and i got curried cauliflower soup which was very good. prices are reasonable and it's open 24 hours. i would not reccomend going on a saturday afternoon, as it was packed with tons of entire families out grocery shopping as a whole, very clogged aisles resulted. we used to go in the middle of the night in ithaca, and it was like we had the run of the store, it was great.
thanks for the time!
