Went last night, not expecting much. Thinking it looked like it was going to be overhyped, I started to consider suggesting our group go the Butcher Shop, and probably would have if they had a better seating arragement there. Decided against it and went on to be very impressed with dinner. Started with the wine list, which did not have a lot of labels that I know, but many wines priced below $50/btl. Settled for a $50 tuscan red, which was very good. Had the aranci (rice balls), which were some of the best I have had. Followed up with the halibut, a little overcooked, the the sides they served with it were great (some corn and potato and pea tendril thing, very good). The rest in our party had salads and they all ordered the pasta with bolongese sauce, which they raved about (I tasted it and it was very good!!). Beware pasta portions are huge, so a 1/2 order if you are not starving may be advised. Dessert was tirimisu and cannolli. Tirimisu was just OK, but cannolli was as good as modern!. Service was good, not great, not overly professional, but very good, and it was fairly busy for a Monday night. Overall bill was reasonable, esp. given the reasonable wine list (sorry, I actually forget the $$/pp, but not over-priced by any stretch of the imagination. I will definately go back.
