Quick Pizzeria Delfina Report

Not to continue on the seemingly endless pizza threads, but just wanted to chime in about my Pizzeria Delfina experience. Got there a little after one on Saturday and there was no wait for an inside table. The wait for an outside table was 1/2 hour. We commented to each other that it would be great if they could serve in front of the main restaurant too, especially on such a nice day.

We shared the broccoli rabe pizza and the clam pie. As others have noted, the broccoli rabe was fantastic. A perfect blend of flavors. Crust was not nearly as "soggy" as I was expecting based on reports. Held up very well from pan to mouth. The clam pie was just ok. We were expecting more punch from the clams, which were tiny and sparse.

We considered the hand-pulled mozzarella for an appetizer but passed. Good thing -- while it looked great on the table next to us, it would have been too much food for lunch (they took some of their pizza to go). Total for two pizzas, two beers and tip was $48.
