Three quick notes - Calgary

Had a tonne of dining experiences last week (there goes the resolution of cooking more!), but wanted to toss a few observations out there.

1. Suriya - Indian, went for buffet lunch. Well spiced, but no heat. A bit too unexciting for my liking, i think i prefer Moti Mahal.

2. Pho Kim - they have a special beef flank noodle soup there that is to die for. Go try it.

3. Majuru - cheapest, best value, fresh salmon i've had so far in the city. $1.15 a piece for sashimi or sushi. Big, fresh, tasty. The rest of the fish is hit and miss depending on your tastes ( i thought their ama-ebi was really good, as was their spider roll).
