Quick Note: chow at Sunday Cajun Brunch

Who knows the name of that German herbal concoction in a tiny green bottle taken as an antidote to overeating?
Six chowhounds met this morning in Foster City for Pam’s Cajun Sunday Brunch. The table was bountiful and the service was friendly and attentive. $23 per person plus tip. 11am to 4pm.
The gumbo was one of the table’s favorites, flavorful with shrimp, chicken and sausage. The catfish was served two ways; grilled and cornmeal-fried. The crayfish were succulent. Good mashed potatoes, good macaroni and cheese, good fried chicken. Fresh corn muffins. Sweet potato pie and ice cream, bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Shrimp fritters. Three kinds of hot links; mild, sun-dried tomato and hot.
Other offerings were of less interest; BBQ ribs, BBQ beef,crabcakes, smoked chicken, jambalaya, peach cobbler.
