Enjoyable hearty pernil/roast pork shoulder, along with stiffy crisp pieces of skin (pleasant herb rub on skin) and a good rim of fat at this Domincan place. Generous chunks of yucca, dense, with the dry crumble typical of this starchy root. Good garnish of sweet soft caramelized onions. $5 for a huge amount of food.
Table next to me had their favourites (I asked) of serious-looking chicken soup and grilled stacks of flank steak pieces with plaintains and a little mountain of rice and beans. Said they ate there all the time.
Satisfying and worth stopping in if you're in Cambridge. Neat little place with friendly folks behind the counter too.

Pateis de natas had a very lemony curdly (and perhaps very slightly starchy) filling, instead of the custardy egginess that I've come to love. I'd still go back to O Cantinho, but I'd probably still want to try other things there.
