After some shopping at Whole Foods we decided to make a stop at Bar Taco on the Byram River in Port Chester. Had not been for a while. Well, it was busy at Saturday late lunch, and the place was in a state of controlled chaos, you could say. We got seats immediately and ordered: grilled corn on the cob with lime, cayenne, coated with cotija cheese; and a sampling of tacos: mojo pork carnitas, Portobello, Yucatan redfish, and sesame ribeye. They were out of roasted duck. All were good two-or-three biters. Got out of there for $20 plus tip...

We noticed the newly built Colony Restaurant structure along the boardwalk. Quite a spot. The sign said May opening, but it looked like they were behind schedule.
