Was talking to my coworker about Vietnamese 7 courses of beef (bo 7 mon). Being Vietnamese and frequenting Little Saigon a few times a month, she asked me for a tour. She's Korean and would like to eat things beyond your normal pho or baguettes most non-vietnamese have been exposed to. Our agenda:
1) Snack and cafe su (hot) - Perhaps soi at Hienh Kanh or pastries?
2) Bolsa Mall - Phuc Loc Tho
3) Lunch: Bo 7 Mon...thinking Anh Hong or newer place on Bolsa and Bushard, which one is better?
4) Check out some take out places: Nem nuong goi cuon @ Brodards?
Since I only have a few hours, any suggestions?
We are definitely doing bo 7 mon for lunch so any other suggestions for to go food? She mention pastries, so I was thinking the French/Viet Boulangirie on Brookhurst btwn Bolsa and Westminster. Anything else....I know there are many at Banh Mi Che Cali or perhaps Vans?
