Make ahead quiche advice for a baby shower

miss_golightly | Dec 31, 200906:19 PM     5

Hi all,
I am a newbie to this board, and I am hoping for some help with a baby shower that I am throwing this weekend. I have not made many quiches in my day, and I was hoping to make them the day beforehand to make things easier and give me more time in the event of a quiche emergency and since I have to bake 4 of them.
I had planned on making a corn and tomato quiche, but I tested it out this week and didn't like the taste. I have decided that instead I would like to make a spinach/artichoke quiche and an asparagus/leek /gruyere quiche. I plan on using a frozen crust (I am not much of a baker yet) and I saw the post about first time quiche tips (very helpful) but am struggling with which quiches are okay to make in advance. Any advice on this? Can any quiche be made in advance as long as I partially bake the crust, cover the outer crust to keep it from overbrowning, and use either an egg white wash or a layer of cheese to keep the crust from getting soggy? Sorry to ramble...I think that my internet search has put my mind on information overload, and I would love advice. Thanks!!
