I was just wondering in terms of macaroni and cheese and candied yams, can I do in advance to make things easier. If I grated my cheese on Sunday, would it be okay sitting in the fridge in a ziplock bag until Wednesday. Also, can yams be sliced on Sunday and placed in water in the fridge until Wednesday or is that too long? I didn't know if freezing raw yams would change the texture or taste. I was just trying to avoid being too overwhelmed by doing everything the night before.
