Looking for a quick dessert for dinner last night, I made it with a 12 oz bag of raspberries. Other than adding a 1/4 tsp of cardomom (raspberries not the best combination with that, but I liked the taste), I followed the recipe precisely. After the time prescribed, the middle was still a bit uncooked - I left it in the oven for another 10 minutes or so, but it was still a little raw in the center when I served it - tasty though.
Is the problem likely to be my oven - the oven thermometer was so covered in gunk I couldn't tell the temp. I have a gas oven and often have the sense that it is less than precise.
