What brand/brands of dry pasta to buy?

De Cecca is beginning to have a sameness for me. I tried the Copolla and liked it -- chewy and rugged, I thought -- but it's pricey at over four bucks a bag, and I suspect I'm a being a bit of a celebrity-hound, and not a chowhound, by buying into the Hollywood label. Any other suggestions, guidance? I assume 100 percent semolina is always best or am I wrong?

I'm in L.A. so I need something available here or by mail order.
