question about mamoun's - and lentil soup

zorgclyde | Jun 20, 2006 10:43 PM

I used to to go to mamoun's for their beautiful hot lentil soup - I was very addicted to it. And their falafels, while not the best, was good enough for $2.

However, last time I went (maybe 4 or 5 months ago?) I was sorely disappointed with both items. Another friend of mine who went separately reported the same. Have they change the recipe? Or did we went during an 'off season'?

I am quite sad about the lentil soup, it's not easy to find a well spiced lentil soup for $2.
If they're back on their feet, let me know.
If there's another great places for similar soup, please also post.
