Question on Le Creuset enamel: dye skips?

I just had a Caribbean saucepan delivered from the outlet store near me (Grove City, PA), and the letters on the lid are black instead of caribbean (turquoise). It looks like it could have used one last spray of enamel. I called the outlet store, and was told I'm free to return it to them in person, or mail it to the Customer Service place in SC, whichever I want, but that all of the saucepans in Caribbean look the same.

Can this be possible? I've never seen a piece of Le Creuset that doesn't have lettering the same color as the rest of the exterior. Any thoughts? Does anyone else have black letters on a current model saucepan, or any piece, for that matter?
