Once a year for about 5 years. This tres leches recipe comes together like a chiffon cake but with more egg.
Today I made it and the whites really resisted being folded into the rest of the batter. Tried to fold them in gently but had to stir a little more vigorously.
I think maybe the batter got over beaten. But I wondered if more experienced hounds might have any advice.
This is my husband's favorite cake which I bake once a year on his birthday.
